Please see the attached Quick Guide on how to upload a file of GL line items to xFlow
Also attached are the excel spreadsheets - please ensure you use the correct file
- xFlow Upload USA.xlsx for SAP company codes 1xxx
- xFlow Upload UK.xlsx for SAP company codes 2xxx
The GL upload uses a semi-colon (;) as the field delimiter and this must be set before preparing the upload
To check your settings
- Windows -> Control Panel -> Region and Language -> Additional Settings
- In List Separator, type ;
- Apply -> OK
To prepare the files
- Enter the details in the tab 'Template'
- The file upload limit is 499 rows
- Save the file under a new name
- Copy the details (without a header row) from the Template tab and use Paste >> Values in the csv tab
- If coding with an ISBN make sure the ZZISBN column is formatted to text so the 13 digit ISBN is displayed
- Use File >> 'Save As' and "Save as type" CSV (Comma Delimited) to save the file; press 'OK' and 'Yes' in the dialogue boxes
- Exit the file and press 'Don't Save' in the dialogue box
- Proceed with the xFlow upload
